    Work Location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 W. Parker Rd., Plano, TX 75093

     

    Work Hours: Full-Time; Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm

    Department Highlights:

    Qualifications

    Here's What You Need:

    Education

    * High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

    Experience

    * 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of equipment and utilities systems required.

    * Healthcare environment preferred.

    Licenses and Certifications

    * DL - Drivers License Valid Class C Driver's License Upon Hire required.

    Skills:

    * Must have good written and verbal skills to read blueprints, work orders and interact with staff, tenants, contractors and others.

    * Able to use hand tools, electrical tools and others with little supervision.

    * Requires the ability to travel, climb stairs and ladders to access equipment; pushing, pulling, lifting,stretching, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping and standing in difficult positions in crowded quarters to make inspections and observe equipment, displays and dials.

    What You Will Do:

    * Maintain the efficient operation of the facility by:

    o Identify equipment operational and maintenance needs.

    o Implement preventive maintenance program for plant equipment, machinery and related facilities.

    o Record mechanical equipment readings and ensure accuracy of records kept.

    o Maintain plant safety features.

    o Perform major repair on machinery and to the facility including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry and mechanical equipment.

    o Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

    o Ability to perform rotating on call duties as scheduled.

    * Perform routine mechanical, electrical, or machining maintenance activities on equipment including lubrication, inspection, replacement of parts, and related plant work activities.

    * Utilize the CMMS to keep accurate computerized records of activities, time, and materials required?? keeps accurate reports of equipment maintenance and performance.

    * Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, educational opportunities, and related training.
