Preferred Qualifications

This position will function as the Criminal Intelligence Analyst, however, needs to be post certified

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Previous experience in data analysis

Previous experience in working in a correctional setting or Law Enforcement Agency

Knowledge of Correctional Systems and Computer Software Packages

NOTE: This position will function as the Criminal Intelligence Analyst, however, needs to be post certified. This position will communicate and assist monitoring officers, facilities, OPS, with real-time information. The position will require you to study crime data, to identify trends, patterns, and hot spots, using this information to assist OPS Agents in solving crimes and preventing future offenses.

High school diploma/GED, Georgia P.O.S.T. certification, and eighteen (18) months of experience required at the lower level CSM Correctional Officer 2 (PSP191) or position equivalent.
