    This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

    Accountabilities:

    + Operating equipment including Packaging Machines, Palletizers, Forklifts, pallet jack, stretchwrapers, front end loader

    + Rejecting and dumping bad bags of product

    + General housekeeping tasks – sweeping, scraping, shoveling, wiping, etc.

    + Changing Stretch wrap and Top Sheets

    + Will have to operate programs such as SAP, MII, FourKites, RtDuet. To tag downtime events and enter production numbers

    + Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.

    + Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    + Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

    + Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.

    + Able to perform physical job duties such as bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.

    + Able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

    + Experience using a computer

    + Able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment.

    + Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).

    + Able to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice.

    Qualifications:

    + High School diploma or Equivalent job experience

    + Prior experience in production-related work or military experience

    + Experience operating a forklift and/or warehousing experience

    + Experience with SAP and/or warehouse inventory management systems able to operate heavy equipment, such as bulldozer and front-end loader
