Division Manager of Nova-Tech Engineering’s ShrimpWorks Division

Pay Range: $142,000 - $175,000, eligible for variable compensation

Who is Nova-Tech Engineering?

Headquartered in Willmar, MN, Nova-Tech Engineering is a growing, dynamic company founded in 1992 that began as one person’s passion to benefit the agricultural industry.  Through innovative process automation technology, the company engineers and manufactures products that serve over 500 commercial poultry hatcheries in over 65 countries worldwide.

What we’re looking for:

+ Serve as the primary liaison with Nova-Tech Engineering to ensure clear communication of product requirements, timelines, and success factors.

+ Lead strategic planning and execution to achieve ShrimpWorks’ goals, including identifying market trends, opportunities, and new business.

+ Build and maintain strong customer, vendor, and executive-level relationships.

+ Oversee day-to-day division operations—including production, processing, logistics, and distribution—ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance.

+ Lead and support sales teams to drive revenue growth, remove barriers, and meet performance goals.

+ Manage divisional budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance metrics to improve profitability.

+ Hire, develop, mentor, and motivate a diverse team; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

+ Ensure regulatory compliance and proactively respond to industry changes, market demands, and customer needs.

+ Direct customer relationship management and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction across the division.

+ Evaluate and expand market opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and support targeted marketing initiatives.

+ Develop and implement contingency and crisis-management plans to maintain operational resilience.

+ Actively support Nove-Tech Engineering’s mission, vision, values, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you’ll do:

The Division Manager of Nova-Tech Engineering’s ShrimpWorks Division is responsible for leading all divisional operations including efficiency, revenue growth, profitability, quality, and customer service while ensuring adherence to industry standards and driving global market expansion. This role bridges late-stage product and market development to large-scale adoption, guiding strategic planning, new business creation, brand awareness, and process innovation to enhance customer satisfaction and internal performance. With a strengths-based leadership approach, the Division Manager fosters a collaborative, accountable, and continuously improving culture, providing agility in supporting teams and initiatives based on organizational needs. This role refines and advances the division’s business model to ensure long-term success and exceptional support for customers.

Other key areas include:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or related field required.

+ 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in management; aquaculture experience preferred.

+ Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others and encourage positivity.

+ Proven strategic planning, analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities.

+ Demonstrated success in contract negotiations, revenue generation in diverse markets, and customer satisfaction.

+ Results-oriented and takes pride in producing quality service.

+ Microsoft Office proficiency, with Microsoft D365 and CRM experience preferred.

+ Ability to navigate global cultures; proficiency in a second language preferred.

+ Effective self-management with ability to travel globally; valid driver’s license and passport required.

+ Ability to prioritize multiple demands, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and maintain high attention to detail.

+ Commitment to professionalism, ethical conduct, sound judgment, and collaboration.

Our location:

In 2005, Nova-Tech partnered with Life-Science Innovations to buy a 37-building, 110-acre historic hospital facility in Willmar from the State of Minnesota.  Since that time, we have developed the resulting MinnWest Technology Campus into the largest privately owned technology park in the country.

Willmar, MN is a bustling community located less than two hours from Minneapolis and one hour from St. Cloud known for its lakes and vibrant entertainment.
