    Job Overview

     

    Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a **Tool Designer** for a leading manufacturing company in **Dubuque, IA** . This role focuses on designing, modifying, and maintaining tools and fixtures used in production to ensure quality and efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    + Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling for manufacturing processes

    + Update and improve existing tool designs to support production needs

    + Work closely with engineers and machinists to troubleshoot and refine tools

    + Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications

    Qualifications:

    + Experience with **SolidWorks, AutoCAD** , or similar CAD software

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

    + Prior tool design or machining experience in a manufacturing environment

    + Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
