    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is looking for safety and quality minded **Senior Manufacturing Manager** (Level L) to be a part of the **Fabrication Composites leadership team** in **Puyallup Washington.

     

    A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines

    + Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives

    + Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

    + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

    + Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

    + Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing

    + 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse manufacturing teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change

    + Proficiency with Microsoft office tool suite

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost

    + 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives

    + 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams

    + 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment

    Shift:

    This is a 2nd shift role, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

    Summary Pay Range: $152,100 - $185,900
