The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Mid-Level Systems Administrator** to join the team in **Layton, UT** .

Step into the role of Mid-Level Systems Administrator, where you will play a vital role in supporting multiple programs within the Boeing Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S) organization. In this dynamic position, you will leverage your expertise in Linux systems to ensure the reliability and performance of our infrastructure across various projects.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture

+ Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems

+ Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems

+ Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements

+ Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ Active CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements), and/or the ability to obtain post-hire (required)

+ 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2022 - 2025 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 11

+ 3+ years of experience with designing & implementing Windows Systems

+ Experience troubleshooting operating system and installation problems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

+ 3+ years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support

+ 3+ years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems

+ 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware

+ 3+ years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating system problems and resolution

+ 3+ years of experience integrating security solutions (e.g. Splunk) into information systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $92,650 – $125,350
