The vision of Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division is to be the global leader in the design, development, manufacture, and service of engine fuel, lubrication, and thermal management systems and components for aerospace/defense and industrial applications. SUMMARY:
Responsible for generalist and/or specialist functions and assigned projects of moderate scope and complexity in various human resources areas. Provides human resources expertise and services and participates in the continuous improvement of human resource processes. Facilitates organizational development and change that supports key business objectives. May have full, generalist responsibility for an assigned team or business unit.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Increases employee commitment and maintains positive employee relations by facilitating communication and problem resolution.
+ Lead and improve core HR processes : including onboarding, offboarding, and employment changes. Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files while ensuring data integrity, accurate reporting, and ongoing system optimization.
+ Monitor HR operations for accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across employee data and transactions.
+ Assist employees with HR related questions such as payroll, benefits, and time and attendance .
+ Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, standardization, and scalability in people operations.
+ Collaborate with the leadership team on engagement initiatives, performance management, and training coordination.
+ May lead or participate in health, wellness, and engagement committees.
+ Creates efficient HR administrative processes by applying continuous improvement measures and methods. Evaluates information needs, systems, and procedures to streamline and reduce time of administration or improve accuracy.
+ Provides various statistical analyzes to evaluate or support decisions. Compiles data, prepares and analyzes moderately complex reports for department, division, or group managers or to meet applicable government reporting requirements.
+ Maintains team leader and team member confidence and prevents the disclosure of confidential information.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Human Resources, Business, or related field, and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through two or more years of increasingly responsible related experience.
+ Knowledge of human resources principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies.
+ Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to human resources policies and practices.
+ Practical, working knowledge of financial and continuous improvement measurements.
+ Ability to work on a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of the situation or data requires thorough identification of factors and analysis of impact.
+ Ability to use standard business application software and HRIS systems.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business or professional journals, or government regulations, and recommend changes to procedures.
+ Ability to work within general work objectives regarding projects and team goals.
+ Ability to write clear and concise reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of team leaders or team members.
+ Ability to respond to significant inquiries, problems, or complaints from team members, team leaders, and regulatory agencies.
+ Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
