    Job Description

As a Lead Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in emergency services, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    + Fire Damage: Conduct board-up, structure stabilization, smoke cleaning, and pack-out services.

    + Water Damage: Perform extraction, drying, minor demolition, and pack-out tasks.

    + Trash Removal: Efficiently manage the removal of debris.

    + Material/Supply Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of necessary supplies and materials.

    + Mold Remediation: Address mold issues through cleaning, removal, and prevention measures.

    + Restoration: Manipulate contents, conduct cleaning, and complete small punch-out tasks.

    + Emergency Response: Participate in on-call rotation for new emergency calls, responding quickly to significant property damage.

    + Damage Control: Implement measures to prevent further damage, such as boarding up windows and tarping roofs.

    + Assessment and Inspection: Evaluate the extent of damage to structures, checking for water, fire, or mold damage.

    + Demolition: Safely dismantle and remove damaged parts of structures, ensuring proper debris disposal.

    + Documentation: Maintain detailed records of damage, work performed, and materials used for insurance claims and compliance.

    + Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 4 years of experience in restoration.

    + Proficiency in construction, restoration, pack-out, smoke cleaning, and mold remediation.

    + IICRC Certification (expired certification is acceptable).

    + Strong English communication skills, including reading and writing.

    + Experience in conducting inspections and engaging with customers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to follow safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

    + Adherence to building codes and quality assurance standards.

    Work Environment

     

    Leads typically work with a crew of four technicians. The schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with meetings at the shop in Burbank each morning. The role includes an on-call schedule, one weekend per month and alternating weeknights. The work area covers West LA, including Pacific Palisades, Burbank, and Alta Dena areas. A 40-minute commute is preferred.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $66560.00/yr.
