Job Summary:

As a Software Testing Lead, you will be responsible for testing software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of the product lifecycle. You will apply your knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support clients, projects, or entities. In this role, you will lead a team of software testers and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

What You Will Do:

+ Design, develop, and test software systems according to client specifications.

+ Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

+ Manage project timelines and deliverables.

+ Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.

+ Participate in project planning and estimation activities.

+ Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.

What You Have:

+ Proficiency in System Integration Testing (SIT).

+ Experience with software development methodologies and tools.

+ Strong understanding of software testing principles and practices.

+ Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.

+ Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

+ Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies.

+ Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

+ Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

+ The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in System Integration Testing (SIT).

+ The ideal location for this role is East Peoria-IL, Irving-TX, Nashville-TN

+ This position may require 10% travel.

Summary Pay Range:

$95,640.00 - $155,400.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
