Description
This position as a Staff Startup Coordinator will be responsible for performing field electro-mechanical commissioning assignments in support of startup commissioning efforts on various Power Plants and/or Industrial Plants. This position will perform tests for a wide variety of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems in conformance with project startup standards and procedures.
+ Compile and prepare documents for startup activities and major milestones.
+ Prepare and present clear startup procedures as required by clients.
+ Perform discipline section commissioning activities and testing of startup packages as required in accordance with plans, procedures and agreements.
+ Prepare documentation for proper maintenance of startup packages.
+ Provide vendor technical support for equipment testing and commissioning in order to achieve daily testing goals.
+ Observe and promote company and site safety policies.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Power & Controls or a relevant field of study. and 4 years of Startup Commissioning experience on Power or Industrial Plants required. Or,
+ Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Power & Controls or a relevant field of study. and 6 years of Startup Commissioning experience on Power or Industrial Plants required. Or,
+ Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement required.
+ Computer Skills: MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat.
+ OSHA 10-hour certification Ability to obtain.
