WellSpan's Hematology Oncology practice in Ephrata, PA is growing. We are seeking a board certified/board eligible **Medical Oncology Physician** to join our community in **Ephrata, PA** .

What you can expect at your practice:

+ Community-based general adult Hematology/Oncology practice (benign hematology, solid tumors, blood cancers)

+ **Outpatient Schedule** : Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

+ **Facilities** : 9 shared exam rooms; infusion and radiation on-site; embedded palliative care

+ **Accredited & Collaborative** : CoC accredited; partnership with Johns Hopkins and Maryland Proton Center

+ **Team** : Fully staffed - 2.5 Medical Oncologists, 1 PRN Medical Oncologist, 3.0 APPs. Currently supported by navigation, social work, dietary, research, and genetic counseling (hybrid model).

+ **Volume & Call** : 14-16 patients per day, shared call-coverage model to include inpatient consults and rounding (Hospitalists admit)

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

+ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

+ Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

+ Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

+ Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and

+ Certification of Added Competency in Hematology-Oncology. Upon Hire Required and

+ Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and

+ Fellowship in Hematology-Oncology. Upon Hire Required and

+ Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of Gettysburg Hospital. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Teaching skills.
