    Pay: $11.10 per hour

Begin your career in counseling as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) Trainee with the East Texas Treatment Facility in Henderson, Texas. Join our program for a unique opportunity to get paid while you study to become an LCDC intern.

     

    What you’ll do:** You’ll be responsible for completing course work towards obtaining Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) Intern status **.

    Essential Functions:

    1. Attend online training for a maximum of 286 hours. The full training course must be completed within 36 business days.

    2. Participate in training up to, but not more than, eight hours per day.

    3. Participate in regular check-ins with Manager, CTI.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    + Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent (GED).

    + Associate's degree in the field of psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, criminal justice, or education is preferred; related experience is a plus.

    + Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
