    Title:

    Computer Systems Administrator

     

    KBR is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator to support HQ Space Training and Readiness Command located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

     

    A strong candidate will have background provisioning computer accounts, troubleshooting connectivity or configuration issues, and interacting with General/Flag officers and their staffs. In this position, you will:

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide technical support for communications equipment, peripherals, networks, and software.

    + Provide technical guidance in use of Microsoft Windows, peripheral/shared drive mapping, browser compatibility / configuration.

    + Configure / maintain government-issued cell phones.

    + Troubleshoot error messages, provide technical solutions, and open trouble tickets.

    + Support users at all STARCOM HQ locations.

    + Support and resolve issues within PWS-specified timelines.

    + Provide systems accounts for NIPRNet and SIPRNET and systems support.

    + Set up or modify user access to the classified internet and e-mail accounts.

    + Troubleshoot connectivity or configuration issues.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this job, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.

    + Security + Certification.

    + 5+ years of experience supporting DoD networks and working with Comm Focal Points.

    + Knowledge of USAF and US Space Force Information Technology policies and procedures.

    + Self Starter with the ability to work independently.

    + Accustomed to professionally working with senior leaders.

    + Experience with providing technical guidance to users.

    + Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel).

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).

    Desired:

    + BA/BS Degree

    + Headquarters, Combatant Command or MAJCOM/Field Command experience.

    Scheduled Weekly Hours:

    40hrs

    Work Environment:

    + Location: On-site

    + Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%

    + Working Hours: Standard

    Basic Compensation:

    $85,000 - $95,000

     

    This range is for Colorado only.

     

    The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
