The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
RTX ES Applications has an opening for a Finance Applications Technologist, Individual Contributor. This role is responsible for the stability, performance, and lifecycle management of the critical Corporate Finance Travel & Expense application portfolio, including Global Concur. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a strategic mindset to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient sustainment operations while driving continuous improvements across the portfolio.
What You Will Do:
+ Serve as the primary technical authority and escalation point for multiple complex applications in the Travel and Expense Sustainment portfolio, ensuring overall health, stability and compliance.
+ Drive root-cause analysis for complex production incidents; develop long-term corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues.
+ Define and oversee application roadmaps for enhancements, upgrades, patching, certification changes, and retirement in alignment with Digital Technology strategy and enterprise standards.
+ Identify and implement automation opportunities for monitoring, deployment, and recovery processes to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.
+ Partner with development, architecture, cybersecurity, and business teams to align sustainment priorities with new project delivery and long-term digital transformation goals.
+ Continuously evaluate processes and performance to optimize cost scalability, and resource utilization.
+ Mentor and guide sustainment with other connected Technologists, establishing best practices and technical standards across Digital Technology.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ A bachelor's degree in Business administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience or 10+ years of experience in IT application support, infrastructure, or enterprise platform management.
+ Deep understanding of incidents, problems, and change management processes (SAFE training, CORE, etc.) with proven experience in monitoring and observation tools (ServiceNow, etc.).
+ Strong knowledge of middleware, databases, APIs, and integrations supporting enterprise systems.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead sustainment transformation initiatives or drive major incident response programs.
+ Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into viable and optimal solutions with analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Functional finance experience
+ Fluent with Microsoft Tool Suite
+ Continuous improvement mindset to help streamline processes.
+ Experience with Agile framework and Toolset: JIRA
+ Detail Oriented with the ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
