    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly organized and creative Programming Manager to oversee the planning and execution of all resort-led events and guest programming. This role bridges creativity and operations—serving as the project manager, experience designer, and cross-departmental liaison to deliver seamless, memorable moments, aligning with the high standards of our luxury brand. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is detail-oriented and excels at coordinating across multiple departments.

    Reporting to the Director of Meetings & Events, every day is different, but you’ll mostly:

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Ensure all training programs are aligned with company standards, regularly updated, and effectively delivered to team members.

    + **Lead Event & Programming Calendar:** Oversee the resort’s annual programming calendar—concepting, organizing, and executing all guest experiences, brand events, and seasonal activations.

    + **Concept-to-Execution Collaboration:** Ensure seamless communication from the initial marketing vision through operational execution—translating creative ideas into actionable plans that align with brand standards and guest expectations.

    + **Project & Event Management:** Serve as the central project manager for all programming initiatives, ensuring collaboration between marketing, culinary, spa, A/V, and operations teams for flawless event delivery.

    + **Guest Experience Design:** Partner with internal departments to craft immersive, on-brand experiences that highlight local culture, wellness, and artistry while enhancing the overall guest journey.

    + **Budget & Logistics Oversight:** Manage event budgets, production schedules, and logistics to ensure all activations are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget.

    + **Vendor & Partner Relations:** Source, negotiate, and manage vendor partnerships; oversee contracts, décor, entertainment, and on-site execution with a keen eye for detail and consistency.

    + **Cross-Functional Communication:** Act as the bridge between Marketing and Operations to ensure ideas are fully realized—providing clear direction, consistent updates, and flawless handoffs between creative and operational teams.

    + **Post-Event Evaluation:** Conduct post-event recaps and ROI analysis, maintaining documentation of budgets, vendor lists, attendance, and performance metrics for future improvement.

    + **Luxury Standards Compliance:** Uphold Regent and IHG luxury brand standards through every touchpoint—ensuring experiences are polished, service-driven, and Forbes Five-Star aligned.

    Requirements:

    + Minimum 3-5 years of event planning or programming management, preferably within luxury resorts or hospitality.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple complex events simultaneously.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors.

    + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to anticipate and solve problems proactively.

    + Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and budgeting tools.

    + Ability to grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.

    + Ability to stand and work on feet for prolonged periods.

    + Ability to lift, carry, pull, or move up to 50 lbs.

    + Ability to repetitively kneel, bend, crouch, and climb.

    + Open to relocation across the U.S. to support career development and operational needs.

    + Flexibility with working hours is required, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules and events.

     

    The hourly pay rate for this role is **$38.47** . This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed at **Regent Santa Monica Beach** . This position is eligible for bonus pay.
