We are looking for a Manager, Federal Tax who will be responsible for managing aspects of federal tax compliance and tax accounting for Corporate headquarters and select domestic entities, support consolidation and special tax projects. The individual will work collaboratively and effectively with finance and tax teams to ensure seamless, timely, efficient, and accurate tax accounting and compliance. The candidate must have strong knowledge of US domestic tax matters.
Responsibilities;
+ Tax Compliance:
+ Prepare and/or review quarterly estimates, tax return calculations and tax forms utilizing software for Corporate headquarters expenses and benefits and select domestic entities
+ Support federal consolidation including elimination analysis and prepare consolidation forms
+ Prepare and document specialized US tax calculations, such as BEAT and CAMT
+ Perform research of federal tax issues and make recommendations regarding application of tax laws to the company
+ Tax Accounting:
+ Review quarterly effective tax rates, prepare current and deferred income tax provision utilizing software, perform deferred balance sheet tests for Corporate headquarters and select domestic entities
+ Review and document transactions in tax payable accounts and determine impact on tax calculations for Corporate headquarters and select domestic entities
+ Assist with preparation of annual tax footnote disclosure
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 6+ years of experience in domestic tax compliance
+ Solid knowledge of US tax law including experience with identifying domestic tax issues and conducting related research
+ Must demonstrate proficient use of tax software
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of Public Accounting experience
+ Master's Degree in Taxation
+ CPA license
+ Strong managerial skills with a hands on approach
+ Must be highly motivated and very organized
+ Experience working collaboratively and effectively with teams
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $140,000.00 - $155,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
