Our client, a leading technology organization in the gaming industry, is seeking a Software Design Engineer 2 to join their innovative team. As a Software Design Engineer 2, you will be part of the team supporting the development and enhancement of gaming features on Windows-based gaming handhelds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a passion for creating exceptional gaming experiences, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Software Design Engineer 2
Pay Range: $46.98 - $51.72 on Experis W2 (Benefits and PTO)
Must have:
- C++ 2 -4 years professional experience
- C# 1- 4 years of experience
- 2 -4 years developing application UI/UX
What's the Job?
+ Design, develop, and implement features across Game Bar, Windows, and the Xbox App on PC to enhance gaming experiences.
+ Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop tailored software solutions.
+ Review and analyze enhancement requests and specifications to ensure optimal implementation.
+ Prepare detailed software specifications and comprehensive test plans to ensure quality and functionality.
+ Code new programs according to client specifications, create test data, and modify existing programs to meet evolving standards.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
+ 2-4 years of experience in software development and systems design.
+ Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
+ Experience with large systems software design, development, and code management tools such as Git.
+ Proficiency in programming languages including C++, C#, and XAML, with experience developing on Windows platforms.
