Description
The future of ecommerce product data is being rewritten with Generative AI—and Amazon’s Catalog Systems are at the center of it. Our team is re-envisioning how Amazon builds, enriches, and evaluates product data at scale. We’re using foundation models, multimodal LLMs, and autonomous evaluation systems to transform the way customers discover, compare, and purchase products.
As a Sr. Product Manager – Technical in the Catalog Systems organization, you will define and deliver next-generation GenAI platforms powering Amazon’s catalog quality, product data generation, and LLM evaluation infrastructure. You will own one of our core verticals—whether it’s AI-assisted content generation, automated quality measurement, or GenAI evaluation pipelines—and drive end-to-end product strategy from ideation to global adoption. You will work with applied scientists, engineers, and economists to shape the future of Amazon’s vast catalog to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving ecommerce landscape in the GenAI world.
This role is ideal for someone who has built and launched LLM-powered applications end-to-end, and who brings practical experience with LLM fine-tuning, model evaluation, and benchmarking. You will work across science and engineering teams to design high-quality datasets, optimize model performance, and establish robust evaluation frameworks—ensuring that our GenAI systems deliver measurable, trusted improvements to Amazon’s catalog. If you are excited by the challenge of applying GenAI methods to real customer problems at global scale, this role offers an opportunity to shape the next frontier of ecommerce product data.
