Job Title: Pharmacy Technician TraineeJob Description

Responsibilities

+ Show initiative and take a proactive approach to your work.

+ Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all tasks.

+ Prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure adherence to service levels.

+ Under the supervision of a pharmacist, pull and fill patient prescriptions accurately.

+ Prepare medications accurately for verification and delivery.

+ Package medications accurately and ensure all required paperwork is complete and accurate.

+ Maintain patient records accurately and completely.

+ Keep your workstation and all equipment needed for prescription fulfillment neat and clean.

+ Assist in inventory stocking and perform other duties to ensure patient care.

+ Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA and compliance regulations.

Essential Skills

+ Possess a Texas pharmacy technician license or be a registered trainee.

+ Demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

+ Show initiative and enthusiasm in the workplace.

+ Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a retail pharmacy setting is a plus.

+ Pharmacy technician certification is beneficial.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite in Irving, TX, USA. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM with opportunities for overtime. The environment is fast-paced and requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure patient safety and satisfaction. Dress code adheres to standard pharmacy attire, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
