This role involves operating mechanical recycling equipment, supporting warehouse operations, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities. The job is physically demanding, requiring frequent lifting, standing most of the shift, and working in environments with variable temperatures and noise. The position also requires maintaining safety and cleanliness, following established procedures, and using basic computer.
Responsibilities for a Warehouse Worker-Contractor include but are not limited to:
+ Operate and clean recycling equipment daily, maintain a safe and organized recycling and warehouse area, and keep accurate operation records.
+ Load/unload pallets and cases, deliver received goods, support shipping/receiving activities, perform inspections, and handle carton building, sorting, bundling, and recycling tasks.
+ Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts (if trained), and tracking software; assist with inventory, carton supply to production, and general housekeeping and sanitation duties.
+ Participate in required training, follow all safety procedures and PPE rules, maintain dock and warehouse organization, and perform other routine tasks as assigned.
+ Perform physical tasks including lifting 15–50 lbs, pushing/pulling as needed, standing most of the shift, and moving materials between buildings.
Candidates for Warehouse Worker-Contractor must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Must-Have Requirements:
+ Ability to work overtime and follow scheduled hours; stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive physical tasks in hot, cold, or noisy environments.
+ Mandatory PPE including steel-toe boots, and ability to wear required safety attire such as hairnets, safety glasses, bump caps, and uniforms.
+ Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.), understand directions with limited supervision, and stay organized, proactive, reliable, and adaptable.
+ Good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and ability to use or learn warehouse tracking software; understanding or ability to learn GMPs.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
+ Forklift experience or willingness to learn.
+ Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience.
+ Experience with specialized receiving or inventory tracking software.
+ Ability to capture work details and report unexpected findings.

**Pay Details:** $23.00 per hour
