• Automation Engineer

    Actalent (Roselle, IL)


    Responsibilities

    + Manage multiple robot programming projects simultaneously.

    + Design, build, and program custom robotics projects throughout the year.

    + Build custom robotic cells, including wiring, fabricating, and assembly.

    + Program PLCs, safety systems, robots (Fanuc, ABB), and press brake machinery.

    + Oversee installation and provide onsite customer training and follow-up service.

    + Travel regionally and nationally up to 40% for installation and commissioning of robotic cells.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5+ years of experience in programming single and multi-axis robots (ABB, Fanuc).

    + Strong electrical engineering skills, including AutoCAD, robot programming, PLC programming, and schematic design.

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks and troubleshooting electrical systems.

    + Willingness to transition to programming robots if primarily experienced in PLC programming.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
