Now Hiring: Materials Handler – $30/hr
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (Lunch: 11:00–11:30)
**Assignment Type:** Temp | Duration: 3 months | Start Date: 11/28/2025
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Materials Handler to support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently.
Required Qualifications
• Preferred: High school diploma, GED, associate degree, or technical certificate in logistics or related field
• 1+ years of experience in materials handling, warehouse, or shipping/receiving
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred (railroad, aerospace, or automotive)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, XPO systems is a plus
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments
• Pull, pack, stage, and ship customer orders
• Create labels and documentation for FedEx, UPS, LTL, and freight carriers
• Load and unload materials using a forklift or pallet jack
• Deliver materials to production areas as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all PPE and safety procedures
Physical & Work Requirements
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Must be on-site for full shift
• Work performed in a non–temperature-controlled facility
**Pay Details:** $30.00 per hour
