    Lead and manage the plant's capital project portfolio, including feasibility studies and new product/process introductions. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and drive cost reduction initiatives. Collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, and corporate leadership to align project priorities effectively.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and oversee the plant’s capital project portfolio (CapEx).

    + Conduct feasibility studies and introduce new products and processes.

    + Ensure OSHA VPP Star and PSM compliance, and lead safety projects and audits.

    + Drive cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.

    + Serve as a cross-functional leader, bridging operations, engineering, finance, and corporate leadership to align project priorities.

    Essential Skills

    + Operation and operations management experience.

    + Project management expertise.

    + Proven management skills, particularly in capital project portfolio (CapEx) management.

    + Experience with feasibility studies and new product/process introductions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Chemical Engineering degree.

    + 8–10+ years of leadership experience in chemical/process manufacturing.

    + Direct people leadership experience.

    + Strong project management experience in manufacturing settings.

    + Expertise in PSM, environmental compliance, and capital project execution.

    Work Environment

    The role focuses heavily on CapEx projects and requires close collaboration with the engineering manager. The work setting involves a dynamic and cross-functional environment where safety and compliance are prioritized.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Blacksburg, SC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $190000.00/yr.

    This is a fully onsite position in Blacksburg,SC.
