Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Production Technician in Eagen, MN!

• Pay: $20.00 per hour

+ Shift: Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm, Lunch from 12:30pm -1pm

+ Temp to Hire

+ Weekly paycheck

Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is available and other safety procedures are understood and followed.

• Ensure the line is set up correctly per the filling and packaging instructions

• Operate packaging equipment continually. Types of equipment could include wrappers, tape machine, bar coders, ink jet printer, hand wrenches, and palletizers.

• Manual packaging may include lifting, boxing, stacking, taping, lidding and box assembly

• Take samples and keeps area clean

• Actively participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects

• Continuingly identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination

• Complete and document activities that measure quality and productivity in an accurate and timely manner. This could include taking weights and performing basic quality tests. Enter results on paper or in electronic systems.

• Complete packaging and filling assignment meeting or exceeding the standards

• Assist with line changeover

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Other duties as assigned

**Minimum Qualifications** :

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and Outlook

• No immigration sponsorship available for this role

• Candidate must provide their own safety shoes and prescription safety glasses

**Physical Demands** :

• Must be able to lift/carry 25lbs

• Must be able to walk and stand for long hours (6+ hrs)

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

• Must be able to wear and function in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

**Preferred Qualifications** :

• Ability to complete training and master skills that are required by position (including but not limited to Hazardous Material Safety and DOT training)

• Ability to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals

• Mechanical aptitude

• Experience with Continuous Improvement

• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team
