Responsibilities for a Supply Chain Planner include but are not limited to:

• Analyze daily requirements to determine materials needs and execute purchase orders to satisfy demand schedules

• Maintain accurate delivery information on open purchase orders through supplier acknowledgements

• Expedite material delivery when necessary for production and service

• Continually review stocking levels to support targeted service levels

• Communicate with suppliers to support the inventory plan and ensure timely delivery for production needs

• Regularly update backlog status reports and communicate expected delivery dates with Customer Service

• Review and recommend disposition for all excess and obsolete inventory

• Perform root cause analysis of service outliers and implement process improvements

Candidates for Supply Chain Planner must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

• 5 years of Buyer/Planner experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience working with MRP material systems

• Familiarity with Nordco equipment is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access

• Ability to read blueprints, strong mathematical aptitude, and understanding of quality assurance philosophies, practices, and techniques

**Pay Details:** $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
