Adecco is currently assisting one of its top tech clients in their search for an **Java Developer** working in **NEWPORT NEWS VA (Remote)**
Pay Range:- $50/ Hour
Shift availability: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, providing innovative solutions using the latest technologies.
+ Collaborate across departments to deliver products and solutions aligned with client strategic vision.
+ Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, ensuring accuracy and completeness through recurring checkpoints and audit loops with technical teams.
+ Provide technical leadership on complex projects and act as an escalation point during production outages.
+ Conduct design and code reviews to maintain quality standards.
+ Review team practices and identify areas for improvement.
+ Work with vendors to resolve third-level support issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
+ **Core Technologies:** Java, Spring Framework.
+ Expert-level experience developing RESTful services delivering JSON and XML responses.
+ Database expertise: MongoDB and Relational Databases.
+ Familiarity with IntelliJ, Eclipse, Maven, BitBucket, and Git/GitHub.
+ Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and hybrid cloud environments.
+ Proficiency in Linux and bash scripting.
+ Agile methodology exposure (SCRUM, Kanban) with JIRA for board management.
+ Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (hardware, software, network, OS, storage) and cloud platforms (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
+ Knowledge of application development lifecycles (Waterfall and Agile) and CI/CD pipelines.
+ Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
+ Ability to create technical design documents and presentations using Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
+ Collaborative decision-making and consensus-building skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
+ Minimum 5+ years of professional IT experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on implementation leading complex IT projects.
+ Expert-level experience developing Java services in an enterprise environment.
**Pay Details:** $50.00 per hour
