Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire a dedicated **Pharmacy Technician** for an exciting onsite opportunity in Plano, TX!
**Location** : Plano, TX
**Pay Rate** : $19–$21 per hour (based on experience, education, and location)
Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive their medications accurately and on time. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations and Team Lead, you’ll support dispensing, inventory control, medication preparation, and order fulfillment—all while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle and protect patient information in accordance with HIPAA and federal/state regulations.
• Coordinate timely delivery of medications to patients.
• Manage patient orders through Pharmacist verification.
• Access and update information using pharmacy computer systems to maintain accurate records.
• Utilize pharmacy technology and automation to optimize workflow and support safe dispensing.
• Maintain inventory levels, conduct audits, and work with suppliers to prevent medication shortages.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to prepare and distribute medications for inpatient and outpatient needs.
• Comply with all established rules, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Promote teamwork and clear communication within the department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
• **Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician**
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn across multiple areas

**Pay Details:** $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
