Document Control Specialist
About the Role
Join our East Coast team as a Document Control Specialist supporting project documentation throughout planning, execution, and close-out phases. You’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery while collaborating with project teams, clients, and partners to maintain efficient document workflows.
Key Responsibilities
+ Implement and maintain an organized filing system for document creation, storage, and backup
+ Ensure all documentation complies with Quality Management System procedures
+ Log and track incoming and outgoing correspondence and documents from clients, partners, and contractors
+ Coordinate with project teams for accurate documentation and version control
+ Maintain current and accurate document registers and databases
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, construction management, or related field (preferred, not required)
+ Minimum 2 years of document control experience within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry
+ Familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS); SharePoint experience is a plus
+ Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Nice-to-Have Skills
+ Knowledge of engineering or technical documentation
Work Environment
+ Hybrid schedule: Tuesday–Thursday in office, Monday & Friday remote
+ Collaborative, close-knit team with deep industry expertise
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
