Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will oversee daily accounting operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to financial planning and analysis while working with a dynamic team in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

• Perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.

• Assist in monthly financial planning and analysis to support decision-making processes.

• Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks and Bill.com, to maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Generate financial reports to provide insights into company performance.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data and account balances.

• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

Requirements

The ideal Staff Accountant comes with...

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

+ 1+ year of accounting experience
