Description

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join the team. This is a small, quaint office where we are like family and get along very well.

Here are the list of skills needed:

Lead the month-end close process, including schedules, journal entries, and internal tax provisions.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with supporting footnotes.

Support budgeting and forecasting; analyze variances between actual results and budget.

Review and approve AP transactions for accuracy, coding, and proper period allocation.

Oversee cash management, daily cash flow, and bank reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and federal/state tax requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors and internal teams for timely year-end audit completion.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting accuracy and efficiency.

Mentor and develop accounting staff, promoting a collaborative, high-performance team.

Research and implement new accounting standards and properly account for unique transactions.

Requirements

Degreed: Finance, Accounting or Business

2+yrs Supervisor skills

Bilingual: English and Spanish
