Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Candidates will be engaged in a variety of tasks throughout the day in the warehouse. You will be on your feet and moving for the majority of the day, so being comfortable with staying active is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Learn the shipping portion of the job, which includes unloading trucks, checking in parts, inspecting them to ensure they match the work order, and loading them into the inventory system. This training will last 1-2 months.

+ Learn to pick parts by locating inventory in the warehouse and delivering it to the staging area. This training will also last 1-2 months.

+ Learn to operate the specialized sit-down forklift, which involves specific training.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in shipping and receiving

+ Proficiency in inventory management

+ Ability to operate a forklift

+ Skill in picking and using an RF scanner

+ General knowledge of warehouse shipping and inventory control

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work on your feet and think fast

+ Comfortable working with computer systems

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Why Work Here?

Employees receive up to $200 annually for prescription safety glasses and up to $150 annually for safety shoes. The warehouse is climate controlled, and after one year on the job, pay is based on performance, ranging from $22 to $30 per hour.

Work Environment

The work environment is a climate-controlled large warehouse and shipping department. Prescription safety glasses and safety shoes with slip-resistant soles are required, with reimbursement available for both.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Cloud, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
