HIRING MAZAK CNC LATHE MACHINIST

Seeking a skilled **Mazak CNC Lathe Machinist** to join our growing team. This position involves CNC setup, programming, and operation on multi-axis Mazak lathe equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with **Mazatrol** and **MasterCam programming** , strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Set up multi-axis CNC lathes (tools, offsets, part zero, holding devices) and complete first article inspections.
+ Program CNC machines using **Mazatrol** and **MasterCam** , ensuring optimal sequencing, cutting paths, speeds, and feeds.
+ Read and interpret technical drawings and convert them into accurate machine programs.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve program issues at the machine.
+ Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM to ensure accuracy.
+ Maintain and improve existing programs for efficiency and quality.
+ Manage cutting tools, tool lists, and machine setup documentation.
+ Assemble parts using conventional and non-conventional hardware and tools.
+ Adhere to all company safety guidelines and ethical standards.
Requirements:
+ **Experience:** 3+ years CNC machining experience, preferably with Mazak lathes.
+ Proficiency in **Mazatrol** and **MasterCam programming** .
+ Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and inspection processes.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with multi-axis CNC equipment.
+ Knowledge of tooling management and procurement.
+ Continuous improvement mindset.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
