What you'll do

Job SummaryThe Major Giving Officer manages a portfolio of donors and prospects with the capacity to contribute$10,000 or more annually. This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewardinghigh-net-worth individuals through consistent personal engagement, with a strong focus on in-personmeetings and cultivation events. The Major Giving Officer will secure revenue through multiple givingchannels, including cash, pledges, gifts of stock, and planned gifts.

Essential Job Functions:

• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of current and prospective major donors capable of giving $10,000 or more annually.• Manage donor and prospect activity, independently and collaboratively with network colleagues, to advance relationships and secure philanthropic support.• Maintain accurate records and track engagement activities in Salesforce CRM.• Utilize wealth screening information, other research, and networks of existing donors, board members, community leaders and leadership to identify prospective major donors.• Provide quarterly revenue projections and forecasting for the portfolio.• Develop highly personalized proposals, stewardship reports, and donor communications that align with the donor’s interests and demonstrate impact and gratitude.• Manage an effective moves management system to ensure timely identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for all major gift donors.• Represent the organization at fundraising events and donor meetings, including travel as required.• Demonstrate a commitment to Bassett’s mission and involvement in the life of the communities it serves.

Work Type:

What we need from you

Education:

Required/Preferred Education Level Description

+ Preferred 2 Year / Associate DegreeExperience may be considered in lieu of education.

+ Preferred 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

+ Required 3 Years of Experience

+ Identification, acquisition, solicitation, and stewardship of annual/major gifts. Experience in healthcare a plus.

Pay Range

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement.

Pay Range Minimum:

USD $76,452.30/Yr.

Pay Range Maximum:

USD $114,678.44/Yr.
