    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for performing mechanical equipment maintenance at the assigned facility, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently and safely.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow all work instructions and safety rules without exception, including the use of personal protective equipment and safety gear.

    + Contribute to the general housekeeping of the entire plant area and the assigned maintenance shop area.

    + Practice safety in all actions, including start-up, shut down, and lockout/tagout procedures.

    + Exhibit excellent forklift skills and be trained on all lifts used in the plant.

    + Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements as they pertain to daily activities.

    + Fulfill responsibilities required for the Quality System for the plant.

    + Work with the CMMS to schedule preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary production downtime.

    + Complete, maintain, and process all necessary documents related to repairs, purchases, and other appropriate activities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + A combination of 3-5 years of technical training and experience

    + Minnesota Boiler License Grade 2B or higher

    + Fabrication or welding experience

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, where safety and adherence to procedures are paramount. The role requires wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following strict safety protocols.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
