    Job Title: Shop Technician and Driver

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Shop Technician and Driver, where you will provide vital production support and ensure timely local deliveries to our customers in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Pick up and deliver materials to customer sites in the West Portland Metro area using a 24-foot box truck.

    + Maintain a clean vehicle and organize truck materials.

    + Adhere to all traffic laws and practice safe driving at all times.

    + Ensure timely delivery of orders with minimal delays.

    + Lift and handle boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

    + Operate various machines such as die cutters, glue-machines, band saws, table saws, chop saws, and crate building materials for specialty packaging production.

    + Collaborate effectively with team members, ask questions, and be flexible to work in different areas as needed.

    + Verify shipping documentation and ensure accuracy.

    + Operate an electric sit-down forklift with provided training.

    + Utilize basic hand tools for crating materials.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

    + Strong customer service skills for in-person interactions during deliveries.

    + Experience in machine operation and production for custom packaging.

    + Ability to drive and operate a forklift and pallet jack.

    + Ability to stand, lift, walk, and move throughout the entire shift.

    + Strong reliability and attendance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Eligibility for hire requires a clean Motor Vehicle Report without major violations.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
