Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities and equipment reliability efforts at a high-volume fulfillment center. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong technical background and a passion for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

+ Lead a team of technicians in maintaining and troubleshooting material handling equipment such as conveyors and sorters.

+ Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.

+ Manage vendor relationships and oversee capital projects.

+ Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.

+ Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

+ Handle conflict resolution and team dynamics.

+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Plan and control budgets and capital expenditures.

+ Implement safety programs and conduct audits.

Essential Skills

+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

+ Experience with automation and control systems.

+ Proven leadership in fast-paced environments.

+ Excellent communication and project management abilities.

+ Proficiency in CMMS, AutoCAD, and data analysis tools.

+ Familiarity with performance metrics and KPIs.

+ Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

+ Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience leading maintenance teams.

+ Bachelors Degree

+ Skilled in coaching and developing technicians.

+ Comfortable managing contractors and vendors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $111000.00 - $147000.00/yr.

Base salary

o Sign-on bonus split over first two years (split evenly in their paychecks)

• RSU (Restricted Stock Units) grant over 4 years with a backloaded vesting schedule

o RSU Vesting Schedule:

• Year 1: 5% (split between 6 and 12 months)

• Year 2: 15%

• Year 3: 40%

• Year 4: 40%

• Key Points to Emphasize:

o Total Compensation (TC) is the focus, not just base salary

o Stock has historically appreciated significantly (though past performance doesn't guarantee future results)

o RSUs are denominated in shares, not dollars, at time of grant

o Refresher grants typically start vesting after year 2
