    Manufacturing Associate - 1st & 2nd Shift - $18/hr-$20/hr

    Job Description

    As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for trimming excess rubber, checking parts for defects, painting grooves in parts with glue using small brushes, and performing molding operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Trim excess rubber from parts.

    + Inspect parts for any defects.

    + Apply glue to grooves in parts using small brushes.

    + Conduct molding operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience working with small parts.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools.

    + At least 6 months of manufacturing experience is preferred.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Ability to operate machinery.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to stand or sit for long periods.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a large, open manufacturing setting with a focus on creating rubber seals primarily for aerospace applications. The facility includes a machine shop, molding, bonding (machine presses), and warehouse areas. There are 67 people on the 1st shift, 40 on the 2nd, and 5 on the 3rd shift, ensuring a collaborative and engaging work atmosphere.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
