Job Title: Finish Carpenter

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in the modular building industry, where you will contribute to creating large custom structures such as schools, hospitals, banks, restaurants, and offices. Our team consists of skilled professionals, including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, welders, and laborers, who collaborate to bring each individual unit to life. As a finish carpenter, you will be instrumental in the construction process, focusing on ceiling grids and drywall work.

Responsibilities

+ Report to the site location to commence work on modular projects.

+ Follow blueprints to install ceiling grids and perform drywall work.

+ Collaborate with a team of professionals to complete each building unit.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in finish carpentry with ceiling grid experience.

+ Proficiency in framing, drywall, and rough carpentry.

+ Ability to read blueprints and execute detailed carpentry tasks.

+ Experience with hand tools of the trade.

+ Knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Stilt experience is preferred.

+ Experience in electrical, HVAC, piping, installation, mechanical, plumbing, and pipe fitting is advantageous.

+ Experience with both metal and wood materials.

Work Environment

The work is conducted on-site in Rye, NY, focusing on modular build-out projects. The role requires hands-on work in a collaborative environment, utilizing a range of tools and materials to complete high-quality modular buildings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr.
