About the Role

As a **Machine Operator** , you’ll play a key role in operating advanced equipment, handling material for production, and ensuring smooth, safe plant operations. This is a hands-on role for individuals who thrive in dynamic industrial environments and want to build a long-term career.

What You’ll Do

+ Operate and monitor plant machinery and instrumentation

+ Open/close valves, record gauge readings, and track plant data

+ Handle powdered chemicals (including lifting 10-kilo bags)

+ Perform basic math calculations and follow standard procedures

+ Climb ladders and move between multiple facility levels

+ Operate forklifts and use industrial tools (scales, hand tools, power tools)

+ Troubleshoot minor mechanical and electrical issues

+ Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow emergency protocols

+ Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

What We’re Looking For

+ Experience in machine operation, mechanical troubleshooting, or chemical processing

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures

+ Lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders

+ Comfortable working in environments requiring respirator use

Preferred:

+ Chemical manufacturing or batch mixing experience

+ Heavy industrial expirence

+ Basic electrical troubleshooting skills

+ Excellent safety and attendance record

Work Environment & Schedule

+ Multi-level chemical plant with exposure to chemicals, dust, noise, and temperature changes

+ Includes clean room areas and outdoor movement between buildings

+ **Initial Schedule:** 8-hour rotating shifts (1st & 2nd shift every 2 weeks)

+ **Future Schedule:** 12-hour rotating shifts (3-on, 2-off, 2-on), alternating days and nights

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
