Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products. The role requires safe and efficient operation of the forklift, and the operator may also perform additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Operate material handling equipment to move and stack products.

+ Ensure safe and efficient operation of forklifts.

+ Use handheld scanners and tablets for inventory tracking.

+ Perform basic data entry and navigate computer applications such as MS Office.

+ Assist in shipping and receiving duties.

+ Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating forklifts.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.

+ Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Attention to detail.

+ Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.

+ Completion of Forklift Safety Training before operating equipment.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and temperature-controlled, ensuring comfort and safety. The available shifts are 1st shift: 6:45am-3:15pm (Monday to Friday) and 2nd shift: 3:30pm-12am. There are currently four openings on the 2nd shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coatesville, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
