    Lathe Machinist - Direct Hire - 1st and Weekend Shifts available

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to set up and operate CNC multifunction turn twin spindle and twin or triple turret lathes, primarily Nakamura machines. Experience in the aerospace industry and familiarity with a wide variety of gauges is a plus. The role involves reading part prints, ensuring parts meet customer specifications, and troubleshooting any issues. Candidates with previous experience as a foreman or lead person are encouraged to apply. We value outside the box' thinkers who enjoy problem-solving and collaborating with others to achieve goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC multifunction turn twin spindle and twin or triple turret lathes.

    + Read part prints and ensure that parts meet customer specifications.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.

    + Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 1 year of experience in setup on twin turret lathes.

    + Experience with CNC setup, program editing, and operation.

    + Proficiency in using live tooling and Fanuc controls.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Esprit software and CNC Swiss machines is a plus.

    + Previous experience in a foreman or lead person role is an advantage.

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
