Job Title: Safety Coordinator

Job Description

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for implementing safety procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and requirements, and adhering to state and federal regulations, including thorough record keeping.

Responsibilities

+ Implement and monitor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

+ Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and requirements.

+ Adhere to state and federal safety regulations and laws, maintaining accurate records.

+ Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.

+ Provide safety training to staff and promote a culture of safety.

+ Manage safety documentation and reports, ensuring all records are up-to-date.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in safety management and procedures.

+ Experience with OSHA standards, including OSHA 30 certification.

+ Strong background in construction safety and EHS (Environmental Health and Safety).

+ Ability to conduct thorough audits and inspections.

+ Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

+ 5+ years of safety experience in construction or a similar industry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ CPR Certification.

+ First Aid Certification.

+ Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Work Environment

The Safety Coordinator will work both in the field and in an office setting, adapting to the needs of each day. This role operates as a one-person team, allowing for autonomy and responsibility. The typical shift is from 6 am to 4:30 pm, offering a structured yet flexible workday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Bellevue, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
