• Manager - Dispatch

    WESCO (Mocksville, NC)


    As a Manager - Dispatch you will manage a fleet of drivers and company equipment. You will manage Class A CDL drivers and Non-CDL drivers. Your responsibilities include driver management, equipment management, compliance management, performance management, and other transportation related functions. You will provide input and feedback on processes and results

    Responsibilities:

    + First Line contact for a fleet of Class A CDL Drivers and Non-CDL drivers.

    + Monitors daily routes to ensure drivers are entering the arrive/depart times properly

    + Point of contact for maintenance vendors for PM’s, inspections, breakdowns, and any other equipment related needs.

    + Ensure all inspections, insurance, and other DOT compliance items are up to date and maintained for all vehicles in the fleet.

    + Ensure all FMCSA DOT paperwork is gathered and filed properly.

    + Handle FMCSA DOT driver compliance including: DOT medical cards, Driver’s Licenses, COV’s, and any other FMCSA DOT required compliance is followed.

    + Maintains spreadsheets and reports that are set up to track equipment, deliveries, and customer reporting.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    + Ability to handle complex, unusual problem solving.

    + Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques.

    + Prior Driver management required, generally 2-5 years of experience.

    + Strong Email Management and Basic MS Excel skills required.
