The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a
full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver
safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential,
commercial, and industrial markets.
We are looking for a Project Manager with afocus on Industrial Engineering, to join our team. This role will be based in our Roebuck, SC manufacturingplant.
The successful employee will have proven experience
of running multiple projects. They will
also display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful
resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross functional problems.
You’ll make an impact by:
+ Improve manufacturing efficiency byanalyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, equipment layout andMaterial Flow.
+ Assure product and process quality bydesigning manufacturing and/or testing methods; establishing standards;confirming manufacturing processes.
+ Provide manufacturing decision-makinginformation by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewingproduction schedules; estimating future requirements.
+ Prepare product and process reports bycollecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
+ Complete improvement projects by trainingand guiding technicians.
+ Analyze production capacities to introducenew part numbers and consider all aspects required, Labor/tools/Equipment,Layout change etc.
+ Be a driver to conduct 5S philosophy and Kaizen as Organizational Culture
Basic Qualifications
+ A Bachelor’s Degree in IndustrialEngineering or related field
+ 3+ years of validated experience in manufacturingenvironment.
+ 3+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering.
+ Project or team leadership experience in amanufacturing environment.
+ Experience with including time and motionto improve labor standards and production efficiency, ergonomics, safety, andproductivity projects.
+ Experience with Bill of Material structureto develop and ensure material presentation and efficient organized layout.
+ Process mapping (including manufacturingand administrative/support) to identify potential improvements.
+ Experience in Low-Cost project Automationand Dashboards implementation such as OEE, KPIs metrics SQDCI.
+ Experience with plant and equipment layoutand infrastructure and ability to creates and documents factoryworkstation/cell layouts.
+ An ability to perform cost analysis suchas return on investment to support improvements and investments such as CAPEX.
+ Design of workstations/Material storagefollowing ergonomic and safety standards, Kanban Methodology, Creativeproblem-solving skills (5 whys, Ishikawa Diagram)
+ Technical Skills:
+ Ability to interpret engineering drawingsand schematics.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suitetools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
+ Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Familiarity with Lean Manufacturingprinciples
+ Experience with SAP (or other ERP systems)
+ CAD/AutoCAD experience
