We Are Seeking
Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Senior Recreation Leader . Hours: Thursdays 2pm-8pm, Fridays 2pm-9pm, Saturdays 10am-5pm
The Recreation Leader reports to the Recreation Coordinator . The primary job duties of this position include:
+ Prepare and breakdown of facilities for rentals, classes, and events. Conduct facility tours. Manage rental check-ins, needs, and requests.
+ Plan and implement facility programs and events to include preparing activities and curriculum, purchasing supplies, staffing, contract instructors and vendors, soliciting donations, and evaluating programs and events.
+ Develop marketing materials for classes, programs, events, and facility information by creating flyers, brochures, social media posts, and advertising slides for facility TVs.
+ Oversee assigned staff to include training staff and resolving conflicts.
+ Cash handling and management to include preparing daily cash deposits, processing refunds, and recording data in reports. Process petty cash, cash reconciliation, and reimbursements.
+ Manager on duty during the absence of senior staff. In this capacity, make discretionary judgements and decisions regarding facility staff and operations
+ Manages facility reservations by training staff on rental procedures, reviewing permits, fielding customer inquiries, processing reservations, collecting payments, staffing reservations, confirming reservations, and resolving reservation issues.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:
+ CPR and Standard First Aid within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
KNOWLEDGEOF :
+ Cash handling, which includes point-of-sale systems and preparing deposits.
+ Computers, which include MS Office.
SKILLS IN :
+ Customer service.
+ Conflict resolution.
+ Responding to emergency situations.
This Position is Part-Time and required to work 20 hours/week.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS :
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and see. Will also perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers.
Maybe subjected to operating a motor vehicle, mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, blood and other bodily fluids, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, restricted spaces, travel, and environmental conditions such as disruptive people, imminent danger, and a threatening environment.
