Position Overview:
We are seeking acompassionate and skilled Licensed PracticalNurse (LPN) with experience in psychiatricor behavioral health care to join our team in Pueblo, CO . This travel contract offers the opportunity to make ameaningful impact in a mental health setting while gaining valuable experiencein a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in psychiatric/behavioral health settings
+ Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
+ Assist with medication administration and therapeutic interventions
+ Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
+ Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients
Schedule Details:
+ 36 hours per week
+ Block schedules created in 8-week increments
+ Days of the week may vary by month
+ Overtime is NOT guaranteed
Minimum Requirements:
+ Active LPN license in the state of Colorado
+ Resume must reflect at least 2 years of explicit psychiatric experience
+ Minimum of 1 year must be inpatient psych
+ Candidates may be asked to update their resume as the facility reviews submissions
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB screening : Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (as applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
