    Special Education Teacher (Grades 9–12) | Inclusion & Resource | $45/hr | Full-Time | 28-Week Contract

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support high school students in an inclusion and resource setting. This full-time, in-person role begins December 1, 2025 and runs through May 21, 2026.

    Position Overview

    + Location: High School (Grades 9–12)

    + Start Date: December 1, 2025

    + End Date: May 21, 2026

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:40am–4:05pm | 37.5 hrs/week

    + Modality: In-person

    + Caseload: 22–35 students (resource and inclusion)

    + Support: Para support provided

    Responsibilities

    + Provide individualized and group instruction to special education students

    + Collaborate with general education staff to implement IEPs and student programs

    + Deliver tutorial assistance and consultation services

    + Maintain compliance with professional standards and district requirements

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid state teaching certificate (Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching)

    + Special Education and CORE content certifications required for grades 9–12

    + LBS1 endorsement preferred

    + Minimum 1 year of teaching experience preferred

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Minimum age: 18

    Pay Rate

    + $45/hr
