Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicatedBehavioral Health Technicians to join our team at a Crisis Stabilization Unit(CSU). In this critical role, you’ll provide compassionate care and support ina structured environment, helping patients stabilize and work toward recovery.
Position Details
+ Position: Crisis Intervention Specialist / Behavioral Health Tech
+ Requirement: 1+ year of recent direct patient care at Crisis Stabilization Facility. Patient care with baker act, psychosis, schizophrenia, bi-polar. (experience required
+ Pay : $19/hr
+ Location: Bradenton, FL - Crisis Stabilization Facility
+ Schedule: Full-Time | 12-hour shifts
+ Shift Rotation: Alternating 36/48 hours per week (Bi-weekly Overtime guaranteed!)
+ Benefits: Weekly pay + Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K

About the Role:
The Mental / Psychiatric Health Technician cares forindividuals with psychiatric conditions as well as a variety of substance usedisorders, following the instructions of physicians, nurses or other healthpractitioners. The Behavioral Health Technician monitors a patients’ safety,physical and emotional well-being and report directly to medical staff.
Minimum Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent required
+ Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred (or per facility requirements)
+ Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
