Job Title: Behavior Technician

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

About the Role

Amergis is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide behavioral support services to students in educational settings. This role involves implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborating with teachers and staff to promote positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

+ Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.

+ Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors.

+ Support students in achieving academic, social, and behavioral goals.

+ Assist with classroom management and maintain a safe learning environment.

+ Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff.

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent (required).

+ Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred.

+ Ability to follow behavior plans and work under supervision.

+ Strong communication and organizational skills.

+ CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

+ Reliable transportation.

Preferred

+ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to pursue.

+ Experience in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques.
